Pollen grains of Hedera are prolate to prolate spheroidal; the amb triangular with convex sides or circular and 3-4 colporate. The colpi are long and narrow with slightly thickened margins and ends tapering or blunt. When present, the ora is faint and lalongate. The sexine is thick and reticluate and the intine is thickened below the apertures.
